A smile is not a feature.
It is a signature — designed with
precision, refined with intention.
Every restoration begins on a screen — modeled, measured, refined — long before it touches the patient. Intraoral scanning, digital smile design, guided implant surgery, same-day CEREC ceramics.
The result is what luxury demands: precision, predictability, and the absence of guesswork.
— Moreira · Odontologia Digital, Asunción —
For nearly two decades, my work has lived at the intersection of aesthetics, technology, and design — moving through the institutions that define modern dentistry, from Asunción to New York.
What follows is not a résumé. It is the map of how a practice was built — read here from the most recent chapter back to the first.
I founded Gem Dental Design, a venture selected for the NYU Female Founders and Leslie eLab Founders programs. I presented the company at NYU Stern School of Business — one of the most respected business schools in New York.
I trained at the Apa Advanced Clinical Fellowship in Aesthetics at NYU College of Dentistry — the program founded by Dr. Michael Apa, regarded as one of the world's foremost aesthetic dentists. A full immersion in veneers, smile design, occlusion, and the digital workflows that define luxury dentistry today.
Selected by the U.S. Department of State for the YLAI Professional Fellows Program — a 208-hour fellowship cultivating the next generation of leaders across Latin America.
Hands-on training with Dr. Christian Coachman — the founder of Digital Smile Design and the architect of how the entire field plans aesthetic dentistry today. Where the language of digital workflows in modern dentistry was first written.
Two years of clinical training in implant dentistry at UNINGÁ — Bauru, São Paulo, the global epicenter of dental research. Where I learned that lasting aesthetics begin with structure, biology, and precision — and where Portuguese became a language I now speak with affection.
I trained as a dentist and as a graphic designer — in parallel. My design thesis explored visual communication for oral health. From the start, the question was the same: how do we make beauty intentional?
Every treatment is designed before it is delivered. Intraoral scanning, digital smile design, guided implant surgery, CEREC same-day workflows. Predictability is not a luxury. It is a standard.
Beauty is not improvised. My background in graphic design taught me that every composition follows rules. The smile is a composition — proportion, balance, light, intention.
The most beautiful restoration is the one that lasts. Periodontal health, occlusion, and structural integrity are the foundation upon which any aesthetic outcome must rest.
A smile is more than a treatment plan. It is a relationship — one that begins with listening, continues with planning, and is honored through every detail of execution.
Calacatta marble, brushed gold, a Heracleum chandelier overhead. Every surface at the Moreira clinic in Asunción chosen so that the patient's first impression — long before the chair — already speaks of precision and care.

Working alongside Manhattan's leading cosmetic dentists taught me what most clinicians outsource: the precise characterization that turns a good restoration into a great one. So I learned to do it myself.
I design every restoration digitally, mill it in-house, apply the final stains and glaze, and place it. The plan, the surface, the bond — finished by the same pair of hands.
No translation. No dilution.
"Aesthetics is a discipline.
Long before it became a profession,
it was an obsession."

A refresh achieved without compromising tooth structure — old composite restorations replaced by ultra-thin porcelain, designed digitally and milled in the same studio.
A young patient with conoid lateral incisors, post-orthodontics. The conventional path would have been veneers — six teeth prepared, six restorations placed. Instead: a digital design, executed in composite, on intact tooth structure.
After the trauma, the conventional path would have meant a full anterior reconstruction. We took a different one. The remaining contralateral tooth was mirrored digitally to recreate its lost twin. Color was matched precisely, layer by layer. Fluorosis treated through resin infiltration alone — no preparation, no veneers. What was lost was restored. What was already beautiful was left untouched.
A New York–born HealthTech venture built at the intersection of digital dentistry, design, and patient experience. Selected for the NYU Female Founders Program and incubated at the Leslie eLab. Presented at NYU Stern School of Business.
Currently exploring associate and partnership opportunities with established cosmetic dental practices in the United States, with licensure in process. Particularly interested in practices that share an emphasis on digital workflow, conservative aesthetics, and craftsmanship over volume.
